Our Business

NTTRG was founded and incorporated in 2004.  Our founder (Derrick Walls) has more than 7 years of experience in Cost Segregation within the realms of Big 4 public accounting and 5 years as a private practice consultant.  

Having worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Tax Manager, our founder invisioned making the same high impact tax strategies afforded to the larger fortune 500 corporations available to middle and small market companies. 

We know our market and that's why we provide a product that is highly customizable to fit your budget and financial needs. 

Who We Are

Derrick Walls is the founder and Vice President of North Texas Tax & Realty Group, Inc.  (NTTRG).   He is an active member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP) and is currently working towards his Senior Accredited Appraiser designation. 

Derrick has more than a decade of in-depth experience in Cost Segregation and Fixed Assets Review consulting.   He utilizes his design engineering experience and background to incorporate technological tools and advancements into our Cost Segregation practice.  Our specialized tools and software is what distinguishes us from other firms and practitioners. 

Our proprietary software allow us to electronically link our takeoffs, property photos, site notes, and other pertinent documentation to a centralized file.  This linking process is the means by which we establish an impenetrable audit trail.

In short, not only will we provide a comprehensive Cost Segregation report, but we also include industry leading documentation that is very user-friendly.
